Just like Kermit sings, it's not easy being green. However at RocknSocks we believe that if we are going to do business in today's crazy world then it must be done thoughtfully and intentionally, making the right choices for our environment, our communities, our customers and ourselves.

From our inception, we chose to make a product that we are proud to call environmentally friendly and American Made. Using regenerated cotton and eco-wool as our textile of choice, we pride ourselves on delivering a product that minimizes the waste of valuable resources. Recycling and up-cycling is one of the easiest and most effective ways to make a difference in our world. We extend this practice from the ground up. All of our packaging and marketing materials are made with 100% recycled paper stocks and non-toxic vegetable based printing inks. On a day to day basis, our company uses earth-friendly and recycled office products and sustainable energy sources.

In addition to maintaining high standards for ourselves, we choose to work with companies that share this philosophy. Our web hosting company, Canvas Dreams is powered by wind energy and is one of the leaders in the green business model. Greener Printer, with over 20 years of green business experience, is the source of all our printed materials. Even the checks we write are on recycled paper, from community supporting company Contribucheck.

RocknSocks recognizes that we have a responsibility to be a part of the solution to the many environmental challenges that we all face. For us, sustainability involves looking at our current practices and identifying on a continual basis areas in which we can improve. ROCKNSOCKS ARE PROUDLY MADE IN AMERICA.
RocknSocks are manufactured in the USA, keeping jobs at home and supporting the local economy. Our US based mills also ensure the highest quality and care go into each pair of RocknSocks in a timely manner. Our product is guaranteed.

What does Made in USA mean?
There is no law requiring most products to be labeled Made In USA, or have any other disclosure about the amount of U.S. content. However, for job creation purposes (see our Big Secret tab), if you have a choice between an imported product and one with no country of origin on its label, choose the product without a country of origin over the imported one. This is true because the product without the country origin on its label has at least some American labor in its content and the imported one most likely does not.

Note: Imported products are required by law to country of origin on their label and products partially Made In USA do not. To answer this question completely reviewing our Labeling Tips 1, 2 & 3. These tips are accessible from scrolling to the bottom of our home page clicking Browse All Tips button.
