The Tip is 'Labeling Tip 1' Know Your Labeling - For products Made in America, the greater the US content the more American jobs required to produce it. So whenever possible choose the product with the highest percentage of U.S.content. US content must be disclosedon Made in USA textiles, automobiles, wool, and fur products. There is no law requiringmost other products to be marked or labeled made in USA, or, have any otherdisclosure about their amount of U.S. content. Those manufacturers and marketers who choose to make claims about the amount of U.S. content must comply with the FTC's Made in USA policy. Note: Imported products must have the country of origin on their label whileproducts partially Made in USA do not. For a product produced in the U.S. to be labeled made in USA, or claimed to beof domestic origin without qualifications or limits on the claim, the product must be all or virtually all made in the U.S. This would mean that all significant parts and processing that go into the product are of U.S. origin. The product should contain no (or negligible) foreign content. Made in the USA products create the greatest number of American jobs for our country. This is because the labor to produce the product, and the raw materials that go into the product, are created with American labor. For most products, there is no law requiring made in America labels, or any other disclosure about the amount of U.S. content. However, for job creation purposes if you have a choice between an imported product and one with no country of origin on the label, choose the product without a country of origin over the imported one. The product without the country origin on its label has some American labor in its content and the imported one most likely does not. We have been making candles since 2002. We have made an extra effort to purchase our raw materials, when possible, from companies that make them in the USA. Also, we are continuing to produce all our candles using 100% natural soy wax and produce a candle line that is 100% natural using essential oils. This is our From Nature Candle Collection. We use non-metal wicks and use a glass tumbler that you can clean out and use as a drinking glass for your home. Re-purposing at its best! We have arranged our candles into four candle lines: Pauper's Traditional Candle Line, Signature Candle Line, From Nature Candle Collection, and Herb N' Garden Line. Each candle line features a set of unique scents. Each scent in each candle line comes in a 7oz boxed candle and an air freshener. Each candle line has its own packaging to set it apart. We are very excited about our candle lines and know you will find a scent to fit you. We are currently living in Sandpoint, Idaho and seeing our 17 year old dream coming to a reality, being debt free, living a simple life on our own land, and living off-grid. Yes, our candles are made from free energy from the sun! When one is in control of their world and the world is not controlling you, then one is truly free. We decided long ago that since our chosen professions do not produce large or even medium incomes, we then want to live in what we think is a beautiful area. We lived in Pacific City, OR on the coast, in Mitchell, OR in the high plains dessert and now in Northern Idaho in the middle of trees with a beautiful lake at our cities edge. We are truly blessed! We are pleased that you have used and enjoyed our products and thank you for your continual support. Happy Burning and Many Scents to You, Mark and Krista Webber |
