The Tip is 'Watch What You Eat' While in the grocery store recently I noticed that the apples were from South America. Next to South American apples were a bin of apples labeled Made in USA. I decided to go with the Made in America apples since they were US grown. Always remember the Big Secret- buying more American made products helps put Americans back to work. It will guide you to food you will want to eat that is grown with US labor. If you just take a moment to look and think before you buy, it is likely you will find what you are looking for. Also, be careful because sometimes labels are not what they seem. Some companies use the letters USA to fool you into thinking they are American products. Trust only those products that literally claim their country of origin. Look for labeling like: Product of USA, Made in USA, Grown in USA, or other definitive markings. And last, when you begin the journey of purposely identifying American products keep in mind that it may take a little time but the more you look the easier it becomes. You will start to remember which brands are made in the USA and which aren't. This knowledge makes it easy and will accumulate over time. Some food items are not grown in the USA and you will learn that too. The Big Secret tells us we don't need to purchase everything from USA manufacturers just a little more than we are accustom to. Our Morse Drive facility has expanded from the original 10,000 square ft to its' current 42,000 square ft., and from the original 3 presses to 42 fully developed manufacturing cells. To support our continued growth, we are developing plans and space to add 6 more cells, for a total of 48. Press sizes range from 35 Tons to 400 Tons. Morse Drive is home to our entire administrative/ business development and engineering team. Bunsen Drive: The Next Generation: Lights Out Our Bunsen Drive facility, completed and launched on November 11, 2011, represents the next-generation of injection molding capability. The facility has been running 24/ 7/ 365 since our grand opening, molding and shipping over 400,000,000 defect free parts. The facility runs on a light-out basis. We believe it to be the finest facility of its' kind? anywhere! Engineering Resource Center: The Future. Design, Develop, Launch. We surveyed our customers in early 2012 to ask them for insights into how we could provide them additional value. The majority of our customers responded with the same answer: New product development and rapid prototyping capability. With that in mind, we launched the Engineering Resource Center (ERC) is late 2012. The results have been overwhelming, leading to the addition of a 3rd facility that, as of October 1, 2013, is the home of the Engineering Resource Center. What's Next? Growth, growth and more growth!
