Instead, our wood is sourced right here in America. Maple from Vermont. Cherry from Pennsylvania. Walnut from Indiana. From recycling to shipping, we are focused on eco-friendly practices in every aspect of our business.

Profit: We look at profit a little differently than other companies. Giving back is a central part of who we are. From the Nature Conservancy to the Vermont Center for Eco Studies, we regularly donate portions of our profit to organizations involved in forest and wildlife conservation.

How does Vermont Woods Studios choose what furniture to offer? Above all is our quality and craftsmanship criteria as all of the furniture we offer is backed by a lifetime guarantee. Furniture is selected that best represents the natural Vermont made style. We also seek furniture makers who use green production processes and participate in forest sustainability. All of the furniture we offer is produced in Vermont. It is where we live and work and what we know. And we are within a 3 hours drive to any of our furniture makers. Thank you for your interest in Vermont Woods Studios!  Our Furniture is 100% American Made.  All of our wood furniture is made right here in Vermont by Vermont Craftsmen.  Our outdoor furniture which goes with our Green Mission is made from recycled materials and is made in America as well.  It is made in Indiana.

 

Each year during the Holidays we encourage everyone to buy American.  You can even see us on ABC News at the 2:11 mark. 

How do you know the products you have listed are Made in the USA?
Before including products in our database we review the advertiser’s website and/or contact them to ascertain the origin of their products. Some advertisers sell both Made in USA products and foreign ones. Therefore we highly recommend you review FAQ 2.

We immediately investigate any complaints regarding deceptive Country of Origin claims. If we determine an advertiser's claim is not truthful we will immediately remove the product/s from our database and suspend our relationship with the Company making the claim.

What does Made in USA mean?
There is no law requiring most products to be labeled Made In USA, or have any other disclosure about the amount of U.S. content. However, for job creation purposes (see our Big Secret tab), if you have a choice between an imported product and one with no country of origin on its label, choose the product without a country of origin over the imported one. This is true because the product without the country origin on its label has at least some American labor in its content and the imported one most likely does not.
