Beckeys a restaurant for friends and families alike, has been at this location in the Village of Blissfield Michigan just minutes from either Adrian Michigan or Toledo Ohio since 1997, serving up the best homemade style fresh foods from the beginning. Started by Myself (Randy) and my wife (Lee Ann Beckey) and joined by our children as they have grown over the years, our aim is to keep Beckeys Kountry Kitchen as family orientated as possible, serving the same type of foods we all grew up with

Food Our food is as homemade as it can get, such as our jam and jelly of which we make from scratch everyday using fresh fruit then serve it up with your toast for breakfast, or our sweet breads that we bake every morning to serve with our dinners every day. (Because of their popularity we now sell our Jams and Breads separate also). The Biggest draw to our restaurant is our fresh fried Chicken dinners made from our own family recipe breading and fried up fresh to order, just ask anyone within a 50 mile radius of Blissfield where the best fried chicken is and chances are they will send you our way.
Jam and Jelly by Beckeys The Beckey Family has been preserving jams and jellies from scratch for close to a 100 years now, Great Grandma Beckey a farmers wife in Blissfield seemed to be always preserving some thing every time we went to visit her. We are still carrying on her traditions and fruit preserve recipes at our restaurant cooking up our fresh fruit Jam and jelly one small batch at a time. We are Proud of our Made in Michigan products
Sweetbreads from Scratch Banana Bread, Blueberry Zucchini bread, Apple bread , Peach bread, Pumpkin bread, Lemon Poppyseed, and Carrot bread are some of the sweetbreads we bake up every morning at our restaurant. People come from miles around Blissfield just to pick up a few loaves of bread to enjoy at home or to give our fresh baked breads as gifts to Friends, Family, or Co-Workers.
Fresh Made Fruit Pies We make our pies from Scratch just like Grandma did so many years ago. Our hand rolled crust is flakey and tender and our filling is made from scratch also made with the freshest fruits we can find then combined with our own savory spices. See our recipe page [Click here] to learn the secrets to making your own flaky pie crust at home.

The following is a reply from Beckeys Kountry Kitchen to our question – "Are your products Made in the USA?"

How do you know the products you have listed are Made in the USA?
Before including products in our database we review the advertiser’s website and/or contact them to ascertain the origin of their products. Some advertisers sell both Made in USA products and foreign ones. Therefore we highly recommend you review FAQ 2.

We immediately investigate any complaints regarding deceptive Country of Origin claims. If we determine an advertiser's claim is not truthful we will immediately remove the product/s from our database and suspend our relationship with the Company making the claim.

To document your complaint, email us by using our Contact Us page. We can only respond to complaints that have been submitted in writing.

What does Made in USA mean?
There is no law requiring most products to be labeled Made In USA, or have any other disclosure about the amount of U.S. content. However, for job creation purposes (see our Big Secret tab), if you have a choice between an imported product and one with no country of origin on its label, choose the product without a country of origin over the imported one. This is true because the product without the country origin on its label has at least some American labor in its content and the imported one most likely does not.

Note: Imported products are required by law to country of origin on their label and products partially Made In USA do not. To answer this question completely reviewing our Labeling Tips 1, 2 & 3. These tips are accessible from scrolling to the bottom of our home page clicking Browse All Tips button.
