The year was 1947. Chicago gangster Al Capone, having been released eight years earlier from Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, died in Miami Beach. Pizza pioneer Nick Perrino, along with his mother-in-law Mary Grittani, cooked up an award-winning pizza recipe for Chicago's venerable Home Run Inn restaurant. The Chicago Cardinals, playing in old Comiskey Park on the city's South Side, outlasted the Philadelphia Eagles 28-21 to capture the NFL Championship. And directly across the street from Old St. Patrick's Church, one of the few downtown buildings that survived the Great Chicago Fire, Frank Johnson started Johnson Paper.

Let Johnson Paper help you with change!

Since Frank Johnson's time, the paper business has been impacted by two significant industry issues: new print technologies and the rapid rise in paper mill and merchant mergers. Together, these developments have had quite an adverse affect on how people like you specify paper. Emerging print technologies, involving frequent equipment and software upgrades of digital and laser printing, are being introduced at a mind-numbing pace all the time. As a result, it's become more and more difficult as well as time consuming for most people to stay on top of which papers are compatible with the latest printing equipment. We know you have more important things to worry about than the latest inkjet guaranteed paper, so why get stressed out when you don't have to? Let Johnson Paper put an end to your paper chase as quickly, and painlessly, as possible!

If you combine the ever-increasing amount of high-tech printing advances with the continuous consolidations involving paper mills and distributors, its no wonder that finding the right paper supplier, let alone right paper, can be a big hassle. The paper industry's merger mania has not only caused higher employee turnover and declining workplace morale, but also confusion over which papers are still available. If it's been awhile since you've seen a salesperson from one of your local paper companies or worse yet, you don't even know who your salesperson is, it's definitely time you start doing business with a company like ours. With Johnson Paper, you'll always be in good company!

We immediately investigate any complaints regarding deceptive Country of Origin claims. If we determine an advertiser's claim is not truthful we will immediately remove the product/s from our database and suspend our relationship with the Company making the claim.

To document your complaint, email us by using our Contact Us page. We can only respond to complaints that have been submitted in writing.

What does Made in USA mean?
There is no law requiring most products to be labeled Made In USA, or have any other disclosure about the amount of U.S. content. However, for job creation purposes (see our Big Secret tab), if you have a choice between an imported product and one with no country of origin on its label, choose the product without a country of origin over the imported one. This is true because the product without the country origin on its label has at least some American labor in its content and the imported one most likely does not.

Note: Imported products are required by law to country of origin on their label and products partially Made In USA do not. To answer this question completely reviewing our Labeling Tips 1, 2 & 3. These tips are accessible from scrolling to the bottom of our home page clicking Browse All Tips button.
