Mastercut Tool Corp. began in 1985 in a 600 sq. ft. garage in the small town of Safety Harbor, FL. The company grew into an industrial rental unit within a few years, and soon occupied several of these units. In 1993, the rental property was purchased. The company made its own grinding machines until 1994, and that year began large investments in technology and facility modernization. By 1998, facilities were once again filled to capacity and a larger building was purchased at 965 Harbor Lake Drive, affording Mastercut Tool Corp. ample room for expansion. The company attained ISO 9001 certification in 2003, and by 2013, the company occupied 70,000 sq. ft.
This year, Mastercut Tool Corp. celebrates its 28th anniversary as a world class carbide and HSS cutting tool manufacturer. From our inception, our goal has been to provide the highest quality products and services to our customers. All products are manufactured in our Florida facilities using state of the art equipment, skilled craftsmen, and our exclusive MAP technology system. We thank our customers and all of our associates for their dedication and loyalty, and we pledge to continuously improve our products and our value for you.

Yes, our chamfer mills are manufactured here in the US….Safety Harbor, FL.
How do you know the products you have listed are Made in the USA?
Before including products in our database we review the advertiser’s website and/or contact them to ascertain the origin of their products. Some advertisers sell both Made in USA products and foreign ones. Therefore we highly recommend you review FAQ 2.
We immediately investigate any complaints regarding deceptive Country of Origin claims. If we determine an advertiser's claim is not truthful we will immediately remove the product/s from our database and suspend our relationship with the Company making the claim.

What does Made in USA mean?
There is no law requiring most products to be labeled Made In USA, or have any other disclosure about the amount of U.S. content. However, for job creation purposes (see our Big Secret tab), if you have a choice between an imported product and one with no country of origin on its label, choose the product without a country of origin over the imported one. This is true because the product without the country origin on its label has at least some American labor in its content and the imported one most likely does not.
