Re-Play is mainly on the east coast. Our molding plant is within 150 miles of our warehouse and our packaging is just 20 miles away. The total miles Re-Play travels from recycled material to finished product is 940 miles! Most conventional plastic goods made in China travel over 12,000 miles... that's a huge savings of over 11,000 miles. We're reducing greenhouse gases and saving energy!

..and Orange, Pink, Turquoise. The Re-Play line of tableware is a green choice because it's made from recycled plastic. It's also green because it will LAST, its rugged and durable. And it's so affordable. Now that's Green...in your pocket.

Because it's made from #2, HDPE plastic ? basically that means Milk jugs! It is BPA free, Phthalate Free, PVC free choice. And its one of the easiest plastics to recycle, and it can be recycled again and again. So drink your milk, and toss that jug in the recycling bin.

We take natural colored containers, from food-related applications (hello milk jugs and drink containers!) and they are recycled through a unique process that the FDA has approved for food contact. The plastic is specially selected and cleaned, to meet FDA strict purity standards. So we are confident it will meet yours.
Then Re-Play went a step further?. we had each finished product line, in each color, third-party tested, assuring our buyers that the Re-Play final product meets the FDA requirements for food contact. Need we say more? Let's eat. Our color concentrate is safe for food contact, all the ingredients in the colors are FDA approved!
Re-Play recycled HDPE products are manufactured, assembled, packaged and tested in the USA! In fact, we are primarily a south-eastern USA operation ? all the better for reducing our carbon footprint.
We know, its pretty exciting, right?

We are proud to be working with Habilitation Center in Boca Raton, FL. This non-profit has a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, and employs adults with special needs. They are packaging some of the Re-Play product line, and we hope to expand to additional items soon.

After your community recycler hauls away your empty milk jugs and other recycling items, they are flattened and sorted. Our supplier carefully sorts and selects the appropriate containers, grinds them up into flakes, which are thoroughly cleaned, dried and color sorted. Then the little flakes are melted and made into pellets for shipping to our molder. He mixes the recycled pellets with a batch of colorant pellets, and then magically molds each Re-Play item. Voila!

Our innovative recycled paperboard sleeves are customized to snugly fit each product group. No need for those annoying twist ties, wires or plastic tabs. That adds up to less material than a traditional box, and a more environmentally friendly package.
Take a set of Re-Play tableware home?and please Recycle the packaging again.

Our products are made from recycled HDPE, which is #2 plastic, and is BPA free, Phthalate Free, PVC free.
According to the Healthy Child Healthy World website, if you are unsure about safely using plastic items, look for the recycling codes 2, 4 or 5. Recycling codes 1, 3, and 6 can leach lead, bisphenol A, phthalates, and other stuff under certain circumstances. Recycling code 7 is the Other category. Some of these plastics are safer choices, like bioplastics such as PLA, while others can leach chemicals, etc. Read your labels for more information and proper care.

What does Made in USA mean?
There is no law requiring most products to be labeled Made In USA, or have any other disclosure about the amount of U.S. content. However, for job creation purposes (see our Big Secret tab), if you have a choice between an imported product and one with no country of origin on its label, choose the product without a country of origin over the imported one. This is true because the product without the country origin on its label has at least some American labor in its content and the imported one most likely does not.

Note: Imported products are required by law to country of origin on their label and products partially Made In USA do not. To answer this question completely reviewing our Labeling Tips 1, 2 & 3. These tips are accessible from scrolling to the bottom of our home page clicking Browse All Tips button.
