In 1972 Don purchased the Arkansas division and established Munro & Company, Inc. There are 3 of Don's 5 children still in the business today, Bruce, who is CEO, Mollie, who is Executive Vice President, and Christine, who is the Director of the International Division. Don is still actively involved in the business though he also spends a great deal of time working on his many philanthropic interests. Today, the company operates three Arkansas facilities: Lake Catherine and Clarksville for development and manufacturing, and the Fred Young Center for distribution and warehousing. It also sources some of it's uppers in the Domincan Republic, which are lasted and finished in the Clarksville facility. We also import and distribute Jumping-Jacks children's shoes and a line of men's safety-toe work boots.
