The Tip is 'City Magazines' I was in the magazine section recently and saw the Indianapolis Monthly. The cover title read "Made In Indiana." I read the article and was amazed that all sorts of things were being made in the state. This is contrary to what most American's believe. Most of us think everything is made overseas. We still make the majority of what we consume and our buying tips we call Little Secrets help you realize that. Being from Indiana, I decided to visit several of the referenced web sites and I am proud to say I have purchased some of the best products ever. All thanks to the "City Monthly Magazine". Buying Tip Continued - Read more on Made in America Products by Charlotte Ekker Wiggins What began in 1998 as a weekend trip with my mother to help find quilts for a friend is now a custom gift business. We make custom quilts in hard-to-find patterns, exclusive patterns with the artist's permission, and unique patterns I design. We also specialize in modernizing old favorites, such as hand-embroidered kitchen towels and making quilts out of printed photos and clothing. Baby crib quilts have become harder to find so we offer a variety of baby quilts in those smaller sizes that can easily be personalized with a baby's name and birth date. Double wedding ring and crazy quilts are difficult patterns - we offer both with a modern twist of colors but still hand-quilted. If there is something you like but it isn't offered in your choice of color, let me know and I will be glad to work with you to get it made in your custom colors. Thanks for stopping by - I look forward to hearing from you! |
